Rodia is a folk choir that studies folk songs from different parts of Greece, focusing on the stylistic details of each region (the ornaments, the musical intervals, the rhythmic nuances) and at the same time researching the ethnographic background of each song, the rituals that it accompanies and its place within the yearly circle of festivities. Rodia was established in 2012 and it has given concerts in Megaron Mousikis, the Greek Archaeologists Association, Parnassos Literary Society and at Mikis Theodorakis Amphitheater.
